In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives in the performance Engineering space including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, US:

7years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Skills (Technical):

Contribute with Hands on experience with Thread Dumps, Heap Dumps and GC Analysis (JMC/JFR experience a big plus).
Have a general understanding of Java code, reading java stack traces, deep understanding of threads/pools concepts and Garbage Collection.
Ability to develop performance scripts independently using Microfocus LRE2020, HP ALM/Performance Center or any other newer/older load testing tools.
Ability to design, execute and analyze different Load, Stress, Break, Soak and Chaos testing scenarios.
Have a complete understanding with hands-on experience in all aspects of Performance Testing and Engineering duties (i.e. tune JVM, run tests, use APM tools, meet with DEV, create TP/PIA documents, etc.)
Ability to determine bottlenecks using tool & analysis when facing application performance issues and reporting RCA to stakeholders.
Hands-on use of APM & other monitoring tools (preferably AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, JMC/JFR, MAT, Dynatrace)
Linux experience is mandatory (tail/edit logs, copy files, check processes, determine CPU, uptimethe basics)

Required Qualifications, International:

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to Lead and handle an entire project, independently.
Ability to understand different architectures of the application under test (AUT).
Ability to suggest improvement areas in performance testing methodology.
Generally, be adept across the entire Performance Testing Lifecycle from the requirements gathering phase to the analysis reporting end-phase.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with JMC (java mission control 7.x ) to take and analyze JFR dumps (java flight recorder).
General understanding of AI concepts.
Jenkins automation experience
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent with 10years of experience in Performance Engineering using HP LoadRunner and /or Open source tools
