Group Audit helps the Board and Executive Management meet the strategic and operational objectives of the DBS Group. We conduct independent checks to ensure that the Groups risk and control processes are adequate and effective. All our team members are highly sought-after professionals who work as trusted advisors to our clients, in all matters related to a companys internal controls.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead and perform risk-based audits in Singapore and overseas locations with DBS Banks presence, with primary focus of coverage in Treasury and Markets, Securities Business, Capital Markets and Digital Exchange.
Evaluate internal controls design for its effectiveness and identify gaps from the review of business processes in accordance with the annual audit plan, audit methodology and IIA standards.
Analyzing and validating red flags and exceptions generated from Dynamic Risk Assessment and Trading Analytics tools.
Partner with audit specialists in the team to identify opportunities to apply data analytics in audit.
Define analytical strategy to address identified opportunities, including analytical approaches, data and technology requirements.
Drive/Execute Audit automation and implementation of the projects initiatives.
Develop effective communication and relationship with the key stakeholders by understanding the businesses, providing value-added controls assessments and fostering on-going interaction with the business.
Provide concise audit findings, presented reports on a timely basis, and deliver the audits to completion within established timelines.

Requirements

Degree qualification with minimum 7 years of relevant auditing/accounting/product control/market & liquidity risk experience. Exposure to Treasury and Market (T&M), digital assets/blockchain and internal audit of banks will be a plus.
Good working knowledge of financial instruments, risk management and possess a good controls mindset.
Ability to work effectively with multiple priorities and to determine the most appropriate solution based on organizational and stakeholder needs.
Self-motivated, takes initiatives and demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as lead and collaborate with other members within the team.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Innovative and Creative mindset and the ability to challenge status quo.
Possession of the following skills will be advantageous: o Good mathematical and statistics background, including the ability to translate business problems and requirements into mathematical formulations.
o Proficient in data manipulation and analysis.
o Ability to present analysis in a manner accessible by non-statisticians through data visualisation techniques.
