Description
We are seeking a Grp Lead - Business Analyst for Reporting and Operations role in ABGD group. The role will be primarily responsible for providing day to day support within ABDG on reporting, data management, business intelligence and automation. The position will be responsible for managing multiple process improvement projects and focus on reporting requirement related to business performance Strong collaboration skills are required to manage day to day activities within the team and build and manage partner relationships, utilize key Business Intelligence platforms and tools, provide data quality management and KPIs.


Responsibilities

Report structuring, including data gathering, data mining, timely & accurate execution of reports, including ad-hoc analysis.
End to End Project management for new reporting design, development requirement(s)/process improvement initiatives within the department/organization.
Contribute to design of robust Report structuring and analysis, and Transform complex data sets into elegant end-user reporting by using new visualization tools such as Power BI, Quick Sight etc.
Lead team that provides support on regular reporting activities and designs/develops new reports, based on business requirement
Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/ processes, simplification/ elimination of redundant activities
Managing the change control and traceability processes for requirements.
Ensuring all quality standards and techniques are followed of the Ameriprise Project Management Methodology
Applies analytical skills to understand the complex data & provide the required information to leadership.
Identifies appropriate technology solution to meet business needs.
Documents process, data definitions, data sources.
Explore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/ processes, simplification/ elimination of redundant activities
Providing support to existing Tools/Macro/ Databases and creating new one as per business requirement.


Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
Strong academic background with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
8years of experience in reporting, Analytics and Project management.
Experience of using Data Visualization tools such as Power BI/ Quick Sight.
Experience of Python, VBA other programming.
Strong knowledge of Excel, RDBMS, MS Access, SQL and ability to connect to a variety of data sources.
Advanced skills in writing complex queries, developing reports and automation of report distribution.
Experience documenting business and technical processes.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Thought leader to strategize and lead the change and the new initiatives for the global teams
High sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of using Salesforce/ AWS Athena is an advantage
Experience
Min 8 to 11 Years.
