Description
How you will spend your day:

* Assist to other Service Delivery team members in their day-to-day roles and responsibilities
* Assist Change Manager in managing the change process end-to-end. Ensuring all updates/changes are coordinated properly and rolled out in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders
* Assist the Incident Manager in managing the Incident process. Ensuring all updates/incidents are progressed towards resolution (e.g.: ticket aging)
* Monitoring the service desk, to triage and resolve issues and requests in line with SLAs (by self or through wider team or system vendor)
* Monitor for, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues which may arise within the back-office environment and systems
* Monitor scheduled reports and file transfers to ensure successful completion of processes
* Back-up and second contact point for daily system checks and reporting
* Additional tasks as may be required within the Service Delivery team



Essential Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

* Third level qualification, preferably in an IT related discipline
* Experience in providing service engineering/systems support to end users: triage, troubleshooting and diagnosing of issues
* Experience of application development and deployment on embedded systems: Software testing/development; Windows and web-based applications, basic networking, etc.
* Excellent analytical, investigative, problem solving and follow-through skills
* Strong ability to work on own initiative, with good time management skills
* Good knowledge of case management systems (Jira service desk, ServiceNow)
* Good oral and written communications skills
* Motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic with can-do philosophy
* We are looking for a good all-rounder with a business perspective
* Understanding of vendor management and change management would be an advantage
* Understanding of data-flow in businesses processes would be a distinct advantage
* Flexible and adaptable
