Samsung galaxy S8: It has been almost a couple of months since the Samsung Galaxy S8 launched worldwide and people really went crazy after it. There was a huge hype even before the phone was revealed and several rumors and leaks were also taking over the internet with the phone.
Since the previous phone Samsung Galaxy S7 didn’t do that good for the company, Samsung was really trying to make the Galaxy S8 better in each and every aspect to meet the expectations of their fans and also help the company get its financial position stronger.
Overall, the phone really performed up to the expectations and there was a huge number of pre-orders also for the phone. However, there were also some points where the phone was lacking and also some minor issues were also reported by the first users.
Design:
When it comes to design the phone really have a very attractive and stylish end to end design with some elegant curves on the screen. The new design of the phone is a bit tall and narrow which makes it easy for a single hand use. The phone is pretty adjacent to the LG G6 in look and design but not totally similar to it.
The casing of the phone is not that strong and it was seen in a couple of incidents that the body of the phone gets damaged over falling. However, this issue can be easily prevented with a cover and by handling your phone with care. The glass back is a reason also for the phone’s body to get damaged so easily.
The permanent home button was also removed in this feature and apparently it is noticed that the fans didn’t pay attention to that at all. However, the manufacturers gave the options to enable or replace the buttons on the screen which is pretty fantastic and it will help the company to have less negative remarks by the people who like it the old same way.
Camera:
Despite the rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S8 having a dual camera, there was not one in the original model. Also, there was not a problem with that since the single camera is pretty much ok and also fans really appreciate it. Compared to Galaxy S7, the single camera of the S8 did pretty well which is a satisfaction for the fans and the company also.
However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also going to launch this year probably and we may get to see the dual camera feature in that phone instead of Galaxy S8. The front facing camera of Galaxy S8 is really admirable and the autofocus feature makes it even better and there is no doubt the Galaxy S8 has the best camera resolution Samsung has yet offered in its smartphone.
Battery:
Recently we have seen a couple of phones from different manufacturers (including Samsung also) getting overheated and slowing down. There was a whole bunch of people expecting the same thing to happen with the Galaxy S8 also but indeed, the phone did pretty well and there was not any overheating complain about the phone. Instead, people really like the battery charging and consumption rate of the phone.
Even with a glass back and a really heavy processor in it, the Galaxy S8 still don’t have any heating up problem and also it never slows down which is a majorly seen problem in other smartphones. The battery timing of the phone was also comparatively better and it can last for more than a day for an average user.

Ok so if you talk about the brand new AI assistant of the Galaxy S8 and which will probably introduce in future handsets of the company also, the company really gambled a lot by giving a special button for the AI assistant. If you guys don’t know about it already, Samsung not only introduced an AI assistant like Siri from iPhone, it also placed a special button on the Galaxy S8 to access it.
The AI assistant is totally different from Google Voice search and it probably works as same as Siri from the iPhone franchise. The fans really admired and appreciated this step from Samsung since they have been waiting to get something similar to Siri in their favorite company’s smartphones.
Fingerprint:
Among all the positive points and excellent features, Samsung probably had made a mistake by placing the fingerprint sensor on the back. It sometimes becomes very difficult to access the fingerprint scanner and the design of the Galaxy S8 made it a bit tougher to reach. However, there was not a very large or considerable number of people who reported about this or complained and even if they did, Samsung will surely notice that and come over a fix in its future smartphones.
