Create Beveled Lettering in Adobe Illustrator

In this class you will learn how to create a very special type of 3D Lettering. The Beveled Style or in other words the Digital Stone Carving Style. For this you don't need to know anything about 3D software, you can do it all in a 2D software like Adobe Illustrator!

If you want to come along and design as you learn, this class project is very straight forward:

1. Select a word and roughly start playing with it until you find a visual composition that pleases you
2. Now sketch that word with a little more detail
3. Digitalize your word or select a Font that resembles your design
4. Apply the Digital Stone Carving Style to your design in Adobe Illustrator
