In this tutorial, we will be using a basic 3D Render as a base to paint over in Photoshop. We will explore how to move from thumbnailing the basic shape of a vehicle in a 3D package, rendering it out, and then adding a combination of photo textures and painted details in Photoshop to produce a complete concept illustration. Software required: 3ds Max 2011, Photoshop CS5.
