Parametric Modeling and Sketch Constraints in Fusion 360

Pluralsight
Course Summary
Being able to sketch and model parts in CAD is an essential part of the design process, and one very important aspect of parametric CAD modeling is constraints. This course will help you to understand and master sketch constraints and part modeling.

Course Description
Sketches and part modeling in a typical 3-4 day CAD class usually consume 50% of the time--these topics are that important. And within the parametric modeling process, having sketch constraints is essential. In this course, Parametric Modeling and Sketch Constraints in Fusion 360, you will learn how to model parts for your designs that follow the appropriate constraints. Initially, you'll start creating 2D sketches and turning them into profiles, which in turn, can be extruded into a 3D model. In the second half of the course, you will progress into creation of multiple sketches, each with their own constraints. Finally, you will be modeling familiar 3D parts and putting everything into action - the sketch constraints, 2D dimensioning, work features, and the Modify and Create tools. By the end of this course, you will have mastered sketch constraints and parametric modeling, which will help you to design and manufacture better, more functional models in the future.
