Course Description
As you continue in your professional career, you'll want to make sure you are developing skills to support Mac users, in order to maintain up to date knowledge. This course, Mac OS X Support: File Systems, covers all that you require to know with regard to file systems and storage in a Mac with the OS X El Capitan or later. It is also the third of a series of courses to help you prepare for the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) examination. First, your going to get an introduction to file systems and the different storage devices. Next, you'll review the main storage tasks and processes. Then, you'll learn how to protect your data with FileVault. And finally, you'll explore the concepts of ownership and permissions. By the end of this course, you'll know how the OS X file system works, how to perform the main storage tasks, and you'll have a more balanced skill set in Mac OS X support.
