Course Description
Moving from concept to manufacturing in any design process can be a daunting task requiring the input of many specialists and taking advantage of the strengths of various software applications. The more people there are on a project the more time consuming the whole process becomes, requiring meetings and workshops to address design questions, obstacles and action solutions. In this course, Fusion 360 - Designing Wood Fittings and Furniture, you'll look at how Fusion 360 allows you to quickly and efficiently design production ready furniture and fittings. First, you'll learn how to organize your project for quick and easy design iterations. Next, you'll discover how to create intelligent parametric designs and also how to create flat-pack types of furniture. Finally, you'll explore how to set up the pieces for CNC, cutting inside the same application. By the end of this course, you'll know how to approach a new design concept and create an initial design in such a way that you can test different iterations. Software required: Autodesk Fusion 360.
