This course is the fifth in a series of six courses to prepare the student for the CompTIA Network+ N10-006 exam. Here we will venture into troubleshooting network problems, including a discussion of an approach to problem solving as well as live demonstrations of troubleshooting utilities you can try on your own.

Course Description
In this course, we will dive into using standard utilities to troubleshoot problems at all layers of the OSI model. We will walk through some of the potential issues with the physical layer (copper and fiber optics,) data link layer (Ethernet and wireless,) network layer (IP addressing and routing,) transport layer (port numbers and services,) and the application layer (protocols like HTTP and DNS.) I will also provide some tips on how to approach problem solving with the real world experience from my networking career.
