Introduction to EMC VPLEX

VPLEX is a virtual storage solution from EMC Corporation that enables seamless data mobility across arrays and even across sites. Coveted as a Disaster Avoidance technology, VPLEX "stretches" your storage between remote datacenters allowing for Active-Active storage. This is the ability to access the same data at different geographical locations. With this foundation set, virtual and physical clusters can be extended to provide load sharing and failover capabilities between sites. This course will develop your understanding of VPLEX from the "What and Why," to the implementation phase, and finally to the primary cases within your environment.
