Course Description
In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a realistic rocket launch shot. Throughout these lessons, we will learn how to build a complete shot using 2D and 3D elements. We will start by using Photoshop to edit the background image, we will then use 3ds Max to create a simple model of the rocket as well as supporting elements. In addition we will use the FumeFX plugin to create smoke. By the end of this tutorial you will have a solid understanding of the workflows that are required to create a complete VFX shot as a single artist. Software required: AutoDesk 3ds Max, FumeFX, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe After Effects.
