CRUD is an acronym that refers to the four main operations that you'd want to perform on data in a database: Create, Read, Update, Delete.

    Project Setup

    In this course we'll be creating a time tracker to keep track of the time spent on projects. We'll use the PHP Data Object to give us all the attributes and actions we need to interact with the database. 5 steps

    Creating Records

    One of the great features of having data in a database is the ability to report on that data. Filtering data for different situations and performing calculations on that data. We'll discover how to use this feature to make our time tracker much more useful. 9 steps

    Updating and Deleting Records

    Mistakes happen. Requirements change. We'll explore ways to handle these changes when it comes to our application and databases in general. 7 steps
