Travelling can be very stressful if you aren't properly prepared. Whether you're a frequent traveler or not, you need to make sure you're ready for everything. Here are a few apps to download before you make your next trip!
Airport Life
Before your real journey begins, you need to be able to make it through the gates. Airports can be your worse enemy: you have to sacrifice so much time to make sure you're not late for your flight, and when you finally arrive at the airport, it's just flat-out confusing. However, with Airport Life, making your way around an airport can be pretty simple. This app features airport terminal maps to help you navigate through the winding maze and the sea of people. You won't have to rely on airport directories anymore! The app also has an auto-updating flight itinerary; with this, you'll never be the last to know about changes to your flight. And, if you need additional help, don't worry. This app allows you to interact with other users so you can share and receive helpful information. Make your visit to the airport less stressful with Airport Life.
TripLingo
Now that you've landed in another country, you realize something: you never took the time to learn the basics of this country's native language. Well, don't panic. TripLingo can help you overcome the language barrier. This app provides essential phrases in many different languages, allows you to talk to a live translator, and even provides you with a crash course on the local culture. You'll have access to over 1200 phrases for each language TripLingo supports. Don't let yourself get lost in a sea of foreign words. Use TripLingo to learn the basics of a foreign language so you can help yourself when you're in another country!
Wi-Fi Finder
This app is exactly what you think it is: a Wi-Fi hotspot finder. I know how difficult it is to manage without your phone's service nowadays. Not having internet access is even worse. But luckily, with this great app, you'll be able to help yourself stay connected at all times. So stop accruing roaming charges on your phone - find the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot!
Home Monitoring App
Ever wonder what goes on at home when you're away for long periods of time? I know I do (especially because I have 2 very mischievous pets). For me, I was finally able to shed some light on this mystery (nothing happens, my pets are boring when I'm not there). Using my Allen home security system, along with the app from Alarm.com, I can monitor what goes on at home whenever I want. I just simply open the app, and voila! I have access to live feeds of my surveillance cameras. There's a lot you can do with this app.
Most notably, you'll be able to remotely control appliances away from home. It's a really cool way to keep track of everything at home when I'm away. The only thing about the Alarm.com app is that you need to find a system compatible with it. The Southlake home security system provider Smith Monitoring is who I get my services from. This Alarm.com app helps me relax on trips because I can constantly keep tabs on my home.
