How do you create a site or an app that makes the audience glued to it? Simple, by making the user experience top notch and that is what a successful UX designer does! From user research to data analysis, there are several aspect that is essential for a successful UX designer. But, the most important one is the intuition that a designer has about the product and the elements involved with it. The intuition more often than not shapes the user experience of the product and then they test it among the prospective users to get their opinions, suggestion, etc.

1. Know the process and principles- The first thing that one needs to do is to familiarize oneself with UX design process and principle. Be it the cautious use of color, font, maintaining balance or any other factor, you must learn how and where to use them efficiently.

2. An eye for creative design- With hundreds of design coming up, we know it’s really hard to keep up the creative spirit. But, until your audience found something new in the design, it would be hard for you to retain them.

3. Filter out the suggestions- You would receive hundreds of suggestion on the user experience. But, you cannot implement all of them. Therefore, it’s essential that you know which suggestion to take and which one’s to pass on.

4. Fast Adaptability- After a certain time your user might not be spending the same time as they used to or the target user set might have changed. In such scenario, one must look into the possible changes to make, so as to improve the user experience.
   
   

5. Knowledge of Graphic Design- While you would have graphic designers at your disposal, it’s always great if you have good knowledge of graphic design tools. This would help you alot in creating basic prototypes, small design elements, etc.
   
   

6. Learning latest technology- There are new technologies coming up every now and then. Keeping yourself updated with them would help you to stay ahead in the race with your competitors.
