1. Dropbox
Dropbox is a marvelous tool for sharing in the classrooms, and they allow up to 2GB of space for storage. You get easy access offline and files can also be sent through email. It is a very popular mode of sharing and is being used extensively by students worldwide.
2. Google drive
Most of these tools for sharing are free to a large extent. Google drive can be integrated with other products from Google. The only drawback being that the person with whom you wan to share also needs to be on gmail. Up to 15Gb’s are free and the rest can be bought if required. Tutors in Singapore are using Google drive extensively to exchange notes.
3. One Drive
Is Microsoft’s answer to Google Drive and gives you 7GB of free space. Again, the integration is excellent for MS Office users. All said and done you need to be a MS user to use this tool.
4. Apple iCloud
Is one of the easiest tools of sharing to set up. They offer you 5GB free and more can be bought on payment. Most class rooms in the USA are Apple based and benefiting from it tremendously.
5. Box
They offer the maximum storage of up to 10GB. Sharing of documents is very easy and folders can be integrated very easily. It can be used from any platform or device.
