Passing the ServiceNow System Administrator Certification Exam demonstrates mastery of ServiceNow System Administration and certifies that a candidate has the skills and essential knowledge necessary to manage the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the ServiceNow system.
Successfully passing this certification exam also establishes the core skill set necessary to pursue further certification for individuals interested in obtaining ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification.
Successful candidates for certification should have industry experience with database concepts and system management. Some knowledge of IT Help Desk processes and the incident, problem and change workflows is also helpful. Three to six months of experience using and maintaining an instance in ServiceNow is recommended.
ServiceNow Certification exams are computer‑based, multiple‑choice exams delivered by ServiceNow testing partner Kryterion, in a proctored environment. Online proctoring is also available.

Recommended Background
To be successful on this exam, attendees should have attended the ServiceNow System Administration class (3 days) and have at least two to three months of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow, or have at least six months of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow. This exam is mapped to the three‑day ServiceNow System Administration Training.

Reviewed by on 08 October 17Course was comprehensive with excellent instructor and dozens of required and optional training labs that made the course extremely hands-on. With limited ServiceNow real life experience I was able at the end of the course to build user interfaces, configuration essentials, perform user Admin tasks, data administration, service automation platform, core applications & ongoing maintenance. At the end of the course their was a case study that covered end-to-end which I did multiple times after the class which was really powerful in establishing my core understanding and ability to pass the test with ease.
