Twitter now supports GIFs - Image 1
With the success of Vine and Pintrest support for Gifs, Twitter has finally announced that it support for GIFs images.

The GIF images can now be shared and viewed on through Twitter's Web, iPhone and Android versions but currently not extended to Tweetdeck or tablets.

With Twitter users limited from sharing videos, unless shared through vine, Gifs can be considered as the beginning of sharing video type content for regular users.
