As you mentioned, Apple Music can't play on iPod nano and shuffle due to DRM protection. But Apple Music can sync to iPod Touch with ease. Yes, you can use Apple Music Converter (https://www.drmare.com/drm-audio-converter-for-mac) to convert Apple Music and remove DRM protection. After that, what you will do? 1. When the conversion process finishes, you can locate unprotected Apple Music tracks on destination folder. And then you can import them to iTunes library on your computer by clicking the File->Import File to Library. 2. Please connect the iPod nano, shuffle or classic with iTunes. Then, click "Music" > "Sync Music" > "selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" 3. Choose the "Recently added" menu that included the Apple Music songs you imported to iTunes library from the "Playlists" section. 4. Touch "Apply" button and Apple Music tracks will sync to iPod connected to iTunes automatically via iTunes. You can follow my simple tutorial to sync DRM free Apple Music to iPod nano, shutffle, and touch freely.
