Nowadays, security is a major concern for every user. However, there are several forms of security like file encryption, adding restrictions, protection and so on. But, watermarking is another approach to secure the PDF files. However, at times it becomes difficult for the normal users to view PDF files which contain the watermark, so there arises a need to delete PDF document watermark. Solution#1 Delete PDF Document Watermark Using Microsoft Word

It is necessary to have Adobe Acrobat DC in your system in order to modify the desired PDF document. Now, to erase PDF watermark user have to follow steps:

Step 1: Open the PDF file from which you want to erase watermark using Adobe Acrobat DC.

Step 2: Select the "Tool" option from the right pane and click on it.

Step 3: Several Options like "Import File", "Export File","Create PDF", etc are displayed, select "Export PDF" option

Step 4: After this select "Microsoft Word" as your export format

Step 5: Select the "Word Document".

Step 6: Now, the user has to click on "Export" button to make it functional

Step 7: After this, a box will appear, the user can name the Word File that user is converting from PDF in the name box and save it in the desired location

Step 8: Open the saved Word File. Now, users will still find the watermark.

To erase PDF watermark navigate towards the "design/Page Layout" tab in the upper bar

Step 9: Choose the "Page Background" option, Hit the "Watermark" option

This "Watermark" option contains options like "Customize Watermark" and "Remove Watermark"

Step 10: Click on "Remove Watermark" option to completely delete watermark from the file

Step 11: Moreover, if the user still finds the watermark then, double-click on the header area of the document, select watermark and press delete.

Solution#2 Erase PDF Watermark Using Adobe Acrobat

Use below steps to remove watermark from PDF file by this application:

Step 1: Open the PDF file from which you wish to delete watermark

Step 2: Click on the "Document" menu

Step 3: Choose "Watermark" option

Step 4: Select "Remove."

Step 5: A pop-up message will appear for the confirmation. Click Yes, if you surely want to remove PDF watermark

Step 6: Save PDF file by clicking the "Save" icon in the top toolbar.
